Crossed roller slewing ring bearing
A crossed roller slewing ring bearing (also called crossed roller bearing or crossed cylindrical roller slewing ring) arranges two rows of cylindrical rollers at a 90° angle in a single raceway. Compared with four-point-contact ball or single-row roller slewing bearings, one unit can carry axial load, radial load and tilting moment at the same time, delivering compact structure, high rigidity, high rotation accuracy and easy mounting — widely used in machinery that requires precise rotary positioning.
Features & performance advantages
High load capacity: two rows of rollers share the load; axial, radial and tilting-moment loads are handled by one bearing.
High rotation accuracy: available in P5 / P4 / P2 precision grades for precise positioning.
Compact design: one bearing replaces multi-bearing assemblies, saving axial space and machine weight.
Easy mounting: direct bolt connection to mating structures simplifies design.

FAQ
1. How is it different from ordinary slewing bearings (e.g., four-point-contact ball type)?
Rollers contact the raceways in lines, giving higher rigidity, higher load capacity and higher rotation accuracy; the cross-section is more compact at the same capacity — ideal for high-precision, high-rigidity rotary applications.
2. How to arange mounting and maintenance?
Our suggestion is to clean mounting faces and bolt holes, remove burrs and anti-rust residue before assembly; after positioning, tighten mounting bolts diagonally in 2–3 passes to the specified torque; after mounting, check rotation freedom and face / radial runout against requirements; grease as specified and monitor temperature rise during break-in; periodically check bolt tightening and re-grease.
