Triple-row Roller Slewing Ring

The internal gear triple-row cylindrical roller slewing ring is a slewing bearing specially designed for heavy-duty applications. With three rows of rollers separately bearing axial load, radial load and overturning moment, it delivers outstanding static rigidity and anti-overturning performance compared with single-row ball and double-row ball slewing bearings, making it the preferred slewing solution for heavy machinery. For light and medium load conditions where low noise transmission is the priority, four-point contact ball slewing bearings are recommended.

This slewing ring adopts 42CrMo material with quenching and tempering treatment. The raceway surface is treated by medium-frequency induction hardening with uniform hardened depth, improving wear resistance and contact fatigue resistance. It resists plastic deformation under long-term continuous heavy load. Thanks to the three-row roller layout, load is distributed evenly without stress concentration. It comes with sufficient static and dynamic load margin to withstand large overturning moment and impact, suitable for long-duration continuous rotation.

Q1: Can the ultimate load of this triple-row slewing bearing be used continuously?

A1: The ultimate load is the peak load for short-time shock only, and shall not be taken as normal working load. Continuous operation under ultimate load will accelerate raceway spalling and roller damage, and reduce fatigue service life sharply. A proper safety load margin is required during selection.

Q2: What irreversible damage will be caused by overload?

A2: Minor overload leads to raceway indentation and abnormal running noise. Severe overload may result in roller breakage, raceway cracking and structural distortion. Once the precision is permanently damaged, the slewing bearing usually cannot be repaired and needs replacement.
