What is a crawler crane? A crawler crane is a lifting machine mounted on continuous tracks instead of wheels, combining heavy lifting capacity with the ability to travel across soft or uneven ground. Large models can lift 500 to 3,000 tonnes, and their long booms make them the backbone of wind farm erection, bridge construction, refinery work, and heavy plant assembly.
