Overseas Customer Visits Yuanfeng Factory in Hefei

A first-hand look at how slewing rings are made

We were pleased to welcome an overseas customer to our factory in Hefei last week for a full-day visit. The customer, who is exploring new suppliers for slewing rings and slewing bearings, wanted to see our production line in person before making a decision.

During the tour, our guest walked through every stage of production - from 42CrMo and 50Mn steel blanks, through vertical lathe turning and induction hardening, to grinding and final assembly. In our inspection room, they watched a ring being measured on our Zeiss CMM and reviewed the traceability records that accompany every unit we ship.

The visit ended with a technical meeting, where our engineers discussed the customer's application, load requirements, and the bearing type best suited to their machines - from our standard single-row four-point contact ball rings to cross roller and three-row roller designs, covering diameters from 200 mm to 6,000 mm.

Factory visits are an important part of how we build long-term relationships with overseas buyers. Seeing the machines, the measurement process, and the team behind the product gives customers confidence that goes far beyond a quotation.
